9 NATURAL REMEDIES TO FIGHT SINUSITIS

We are in spring, which means that it is time for seasonal allergies caused by pollen and different types of trees and grasses. If you are one of those who suffer from terrible allergies, did you know that if not treated, these could cause sinusitis? And if you already have sinusitis, you will know that the pain around your nose can be excruciating. So much congestion accompanied by severe headaches, they seem not to end. Beyond the discomforts, sinusitis can cause severe infections, so try these natural remedies.

All my life I was struggling with the hateful sinusitis, and to top it off I was not a big fan of taking pills to alleviate or control it. That's why I did a search on how you can fight sinusitis. That is how I found these natural remedies that changed my life and that I am sure will help you a lot.

Of all these remedies, my favorite, so far, is the mixture of olive oil with verbena. Act super-fast and my nostrils have finally seen the light at the end of the tunnel. I invite you to take a look at these natural remedies, try them, and choose the one that best suits you. Take note!

1/9
Reduce symptoms with the simplest and most natural remedy of all, which is to drink natural water.
You need to make the mucus that is stored in your sinuses less thick and thus facilitates its elimination. Draining your nose and deflating inside depends a lot on the amount of water you drink, so try to drink 8 glasses a day.

2/9
Apple cider vinegar to thin the concentrated mucus in your nose.
You only need to combine one to two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and one tablespoon of raw honey in about 6 ounces of water, mix and drink 3 times a day for five days. After this period you will notice the difference and the discomfort will reduce.

3/9
Use a nasal steam bath to increase nasal flow and fully unlock.
Place a container of hot water in front of you and at a considerable distance from your face and inhale the steam. You can add eucalyptus essence or eucalyptus leaves and you will notice how the mucus begins to flow in a way that uncovers and deflates internally.

4/9
Clean your nasal cavities with a saline solution known as seawater.
Mix a little salt in distilled water and pour the solution into a dropper or, failing that, you can do it in a sprayer. Apply the mixture covering a nostril and adding it in the one you left free. Then blow out with your nose and have a handkerchief on hand to get all the clogged mucus out.

5/9
Prepare a mint remedy that will be very useful for its anti-inflammatory and decongestant properties.
Make an infusion by placing two tablespoons of the mint plant per 1/4 liter of water, boil the water and then add the mint, letting it rest for 10 to 15 minutes. Strain the infusion and soak two gauze pads with the preparation. Put it in your nostrils and change it every 20 minutes.

6/9
Combine a remedy with rosemary and onion to deflate and help your airways at the same time.
You just have to put in a liter of boiling water a small chopped onion and a tablespoon of rosemary. Outside of the fire, you need to suck in the steam, being careful not to burn yourself, and repeating the process twice a day for a week.

7/9
Fennel oil for being a great antiseptic and a very good expectorant.
It is an essential oil for this type of problem and in addition to being relaxing, it is also decongestant. You just have to pour a few drops in a clean handkerchief and breathe it for small periods of time and you will feel how the pain decreases.

8/9
Grandma's remedy with verbena and olive oil to give local relief to your nose.
You need to make a poultice by putting two tablespoons of verbena in a pan and when it gives off the smell add a splash of olive oil and two beaten egg whites. Wet the liquid with a gauze pad and place it on your nose and cheekbones.

9/9
Eat foods that can help you, changes in your diet may be the best solution.
The raw carrot has excellent properties that help you strengthen the mucosa and increase your defenses. Drinking orange juice and consuming everything that has vitamin C will help you be free of viruses and bacteria that attack your airways.
